Albergue Hacienda Moravia de Chirripó, Turrialba

The Albergue or rural resort is located within the Hacienda Moravia of Chirripó, owned by the Soto family. The Hacienda has an area of more than 5000 acres at an altitude of 1150 meters above sea level. The Chirripó Native Indian Reserve, where the Cabecar Indians live, surrounds Moravia . You will be very far away from the hectic way of life of the city, in a hidden valley, ideal to enjoy pure air, to relax, or to enjoy recreational activities.

The Hacienda maintains around 750 animals of cattle, a stable with 70 horses, reservoirs with Tilapia fish and a lake for fishing. All the animals are raised without hormones.

Moreover, it has beautiful mountain paths for horseback riding with the cattlemen, for hiking, bird- and orchid watching or simply to relax and enjoy the quiet of nature.
